4 Account Deletion Process

When you request to delete your account:

  1. Your account is immediately deactivated, and you can no longer log in.
  2. Your personal data is permanently deleted from our active systems within 30 days.
  3. Some information may be retained in our backup systems for up to 90 days before being permanently erased.
  4. Certain data must be retained for longer periods for legal, tax, or accounting purposes as outlined in the table above. Where possible, this data will be anonymized to remove personal identifiers.
  5. Publicly visible content you've created (like testimonials) may remain visible but will be anonymized.

You can request a copy of your data before deletion through the "Export Your Data" feature in your account settings.

5 Exceptions & Special Circumstances

Notwithstanding the periods outlined above, we may retain personal data for a longer period if required to:

  • Comply with a legal obligation, such as an investigation or court order.
  • Resolve a dispute or enforce our agreements.
  • Protect the security and integrity of our platform from fraud or abuse.

In such cases, the data will be securely stored and isolated from regular processing until it can be deleted.

6 Data Minimization

We regularly review our data collection practices to ensure we only collect and retain data that is necessary for our services. This includes:

  • Anonymizing data where possible for analytical purposes
  • Deleting unnecessary data fields when they are no longer needed
